Green Park
Yoga Instructor
Green took her first yoga class in early 2015 when she was struggling to adjust with her new life in Australia both physically and mentally. As Green used to be an urban dancer during her high school years, she instantly fell in love with the creative flow of Vinyasa yoga and Asana practice has become one of her passions ever since then. She has been practising various styles of both traditional and modern yoga throughout her yoga journey. Now she combines multiple styles of yoga to her own.
Green’s teaching style is very energetic and focuses on each students’ body alignment. She always encourages students to challenge their limits to grow and express themselves through body movement. She also loves to do hands-on assists to guide students to experience a deeper connection with their body and mind.
Green is also a psychotherapist. She has always been interested in the human mind which led her to major in psychology at university. Since she started practising yoga, she realised through her own experience as well as through her students, how much the mind can affect our physical body. Because of this realisation, she decided to go back to study psychology to grasp a deeper level understanding of this concept based on a scientific approach. She is a registered psychotherapist in Korea and now she offers psychotherapy sessions both in person and online which she believes when done in conjunction with yoga, can multiply the benefits significantly.
